Want to work in the outdoor industry? Or do you already have a job as a guide but want to learn what it takes to work for BOSS? This section explains our policies and procedures regarding staff recruitment and development.
Each season, BOSS invites qualifying alumni to consider returning to the school to serve as Apprentices. Apprenticeships last from 8 to 12 weeks and during this time, participants are trained in the behind-the-scenes aspects of the school, including course curriculum design, route selection, logistics, and risk management.
