First Year Working at BOSS: 2024

Current Position: Admissions

Hometown: Reston, VA

Currenty Resides In: Littleton, CO

I came to BOSS because:

My husband Trevor Cox began as a student at BOSS in 2014 and returned home completely altered by his experience — I had to make my way to Boulder to see what it was all about. I too felt transformed by the landscape, which served as a catalyst for me to leave my life in NYC and thru-hike the Appalachian Trail. As Trevor continued his journey from apprentice to instructor over the years, I had the privilege of getting to know the BOSS community better during visits out from the east coast. In 2021, Trevor and I moved out to Denver, CO and I finally had the opportunity to complete my first BOSS course where my appreciation of the work, place, and people grew ten-fold. There is no place like it!

I work at BOSS because:

I am fascinated by and passionate about the intersection of nature and culture. BOSS courses facilitate the process of helping people find and remember the wilderness within themselves. There's no better way to care for our world than connecting nature with more of itself.
