I CAME TO BOSS BECAUSE...

For five years prior to starting at BOSS, I had been teaching and learning primitive skills. I was obsessed with the idea of living off the land and then teaching what I had learned. Then I saw the BOSS catalog with someone spearing a fish on the cover. I saw my future in that photo and haven't looked back.

I TEACH AT BOSS BECAUSE...

I love to learn and I love to teach. I was told that if you wish to learn something, then put yourself in a situation where you have to learn. Add an excellent group of friends that have similar interests. Joy and knowledge will follow.

Interesting Trivia About Dave:


  • Dave grew up loving all adrenaline-pursuits: SCUBA diving, skydiving, rock climbing, skiing -- "anything dangerous and life threatening"

  • Dave has over 50 skydiving jumps.

  • Dave is a brown-belt in karate.

  • His favorite food is elk burgers.

  • Dave's current hobbies include hunting, archery, trapping, exploring and living life fully.
