Wilderness First Responder (WFR)
Wilderness First Responder (WFR)The Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is a required medical training certification for most wilderness guides and outfitters. This WFR course, hosted by BOSS in Boulder, Utah, is taught by the Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS and covers all aspects of WMI's 80-hour certification course. Held in even years (2010, 2012, etc).

Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Recertification
Wilderness First Responder (WFR) RecertificationIn the Spring of even years (2010, 2012...), BOSS hosts a 3-Day WFR Recertification Class taught by the Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS. If you're an outdoor guide, chances are you need to keep your certification current. This course will renew an expiring WFR certification from WMI, WMA, and SOLO.
